The Beginning of Our Story
ur coastal region, the mountain winds, and the natural wealth of flora and fauna inspired us to create the first Croatian craft distillery. However, our first steps were not in distilling – our story began as a traditional family farm producing honey and natural honey-based products.

In the year 2000, we discovered a new mission – to craft traditional liqueurs and brandies of the Kvarner region. By combining the time-honored recipes of Učka’s old beekeepers with modern distilling technology, we have been able to create authentic Croatian spirits that we are proud of.

You may be wondering how our liqueurs and brandies are made? We are proud to say that we produce and bottle everything ourselves in our distillery in Bregi. We rely on traditional methods of rakija distillation, double distillation, and always use indigenous ingredients from the coastal region. Many of our production processes will be covered in upcoming blog posts.
All the ingredients used in our liqueurs and brandies are of natural origin, carefully cultivated, harvested, and processed. The fruit we need in the production process comes from the eco-cultivation of local Croatian producers, while the herbs are hand-picked by us on the slopes of Učka and other mountains of our coastal region.
You are always welcome to visit us at our production facility, where we also have a tasting room where you can sample and purchase more than 15 different rakijas and liqueurs.
